Caterex 2010

Held in the traditional seaside town of Skegness at the Richmond Holiday Park, the Caterex trade show has been running since 1983 and over those 26 years has displayed the very best in catering with excellent displays from small local businesses to national giants.

Entry for visitors to the Caterex trade show is, as always, free of charge, and is available to all catering professionals. Free parking is available on site and a taxi service is available from the car parks to the main entrance.

Is your July tax bill too high?

The January and July interim tax payments this year are just estimates towards your 2009 tax bill.  These are based on your previous tax bill so if your taxable profit for 2009 is going to be less than 2008 you could be paying more tax than you need to.

If your bookkeeping is accurate and up to date your accountant can quickly review your books and arrange for your July tax bill to be reduced.  If your accountant isn’t proactive and contacting you to at least mention this to you then it maybe you need a more proactive accountant.

Crunchers operate an Accountants Alliance Programme and can introduce you to an accountant who will help you with this type of proactive tax advice.

Keep in mind that any claim must include the grounds for the claim and can be made in a tax return, in a claim form, or in a letter and the Revenue has no power to reject a valid claim.  But, be careful, after processing a claim the Revenue may review the details to identify negligent or fraudulent claims.
